We had a quiet day today touring Tudor crystal factory and showroom and then the Red House Glass Cone inside which they create all sorts of glass objects. There used to be a Stuart Crystal works there but it went out of business.

The crystal in the Tudor Crystal showrooms was superb and we bought a couple of items there.

We then went on to the Red House Glass Cone and watched them making various items. Rather them than me. It looked pretty dangerous playing around with molten glass but they seemed to know what they were doing.

After spending some time there we went on to a local shopping centre and markets to check out the unusual ranges and brands of stuff sold in this country. Among them is this thing Lyn is holding called a Fat Ball. People buy them to feed to the birds and there are shops here with shelves full of stuff to feed the birds. The RSPB is very big here also (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds).
